Incorrect: The party will be from 5:30-6:30.

Correct: The party will be from 5:30 to 6:30.

Correct: The party will be 5:30-6:30.

If you start by saying “between” or “from,” then you need to also use “to.” You cannot use “between” or “from” and a hypen.
