Other than learning some important vocabulary and useful phrases you may use or hear while at the airport, it’s also interesting to take a look at variety of signs around. 

Here’s an example: 

Departure – plane leaves the airport

Arrival – plane arrives at its destination

Terminal – a place where vehicles, passengers, or goods begin or end a journey.

• Note that the plane’s logo for Departures is upward , indicating that the plane departs/leaves. On the other hand , plane’s logo for Arrivals is downward , indicating that the plane arrives.
